About KAI

Knowledge Advantage, Inc.® (KAI) provides expert strategic business planning analysis, business representation, and knowledge management services to commercial companies and Government agencies throughout the U.S. Founded in 1999 by Belkis (Bel) Leong-Hong after a 30-year career in Government, including more than 10 years in Executive leadership positions, KAI combines leading-edge technologies with state-of-the-art management practices, delivering comprehensive solutions to support critical mission needs and business initiatives.

KAI principals and associates are experts in their respective fields, with an average experience level of more than 20 years. We have a diverse professional background; information technology and knowledge management technologists, program management, resources management, system development, leadership development, communication skills, human resources and policy analysis. We have extensive knowledge in defense, energy, intelligence, education and the private sectors. Our individual and collective talents make KAI a versatile and responsive enterprise.

Specifically, KAI:

  • Performs strategic business planning, business assessments, and business re-engineering; and supports implementation of business re-engineering solutions in both Government and commercial sectors.
  • Assists clients in defining core competencies, and in defining strategic marketing direction, and identifying niche markets.
  • Applies analytical techniques to address processes, technology, performance measurements, and organizational culture in developing programs to support business focus and improvement.
  • Assists clients in analyzing current corporate operations, capabilities, customer needs; and assesses future competitive advantages as the basis for re-engineering operations.
  • Supports change management, planning, and implementation of re-engineered solutions in government and corporate operations.
  • Performs market analyses for emerging information technology products; develops market niches; recommends strategic marketing direction; and supports implementation of strategy.
  • Represents client’s products to potential customers.
  • Conceptualizes, designs, and specifies requirement for solutions.
  • Conceptualizes and designs reengineered management systems solutions.
    Develops Knowledge Management system solutions to support common business problems, such as business intelligence knowledge systems, and using commercial software tools with capabilities for data mining and data warehousing.
  • Conducts policy studies, reviews, assessments, develops recommendations, and produces reports.
  • Develops and delivers leadership and management workshops.
