Huntsville, AL - KAI attended the Materiel Enterprise Small Business Conference (http://ndia-tvc.org/wpfallconf) held at the Westin hotel on November 16-17, 2011. The conference provided opportunities to learn firsthand about business opportunities with government (i.e., AMCOM, EAGLE, ITES-2) and large businesses located in the Huntsville area; exchanged information and ideas with senior leaders of government and small business; met with government decision makers who set policies and conduct acquisitions; and, discussed opportunities with DoD and large businesses.
The U.S. Army Materiel Command (http://www.amc.army.mil) is the Army's premier provider of materiel readiness - technology, acquisition support, materiel development, logistics power projection, and sustainment - to the total force, across the spectrum of joint military operations. If a Soldier shoots it, drives it, flies it, wears it, eats it or communicates with it, AMC provides it.
