Senior management officials at the A.B. Won Pat Guam International Airport Authority met visiting Kuadra representatives in early November. Kuadra members took the opportunity to introduce the company, which was formed as a local business in Guam this year . Kuadra takes its name from the indigenous Chamorro word for “being set” and “ready to go.”
“The airport is one of Guam’s critical infrastructure facilities,” said Kuadra President Danny Aranza. “It forms a crucial transportation link between the island and the rest of the world, processing hundreds of thousands of tourists, military personnel, contract workers, Guam residents and other island travelers each year. As a local Guam company, we look forward to supporting the efforts of GIAA Executive Manager Mary Torres and her Deputy Manager Pedro Martinez.”
Kuadra representatives described how Kuadra is a joint venture between Knowledge Advantage Inc. and SoBran Inc. pursuant to a mentor-protégé agreement approved by the Small Business Administration. As a woman-owned and veteran-owned small business, Kuadra is eligible to compete for 8(a) small business contracts in Guam. Through its corporate parents, Kuadra has over 30 years for solid contracting experience providing professional solutions in logistics, security and training.
